Spiderwebs in the mist

I came out Sunday morning, it was slightly misty and humid, and all of these dense spiderwebs were visible on the ground.

Here's a closeup:

Some of them were 3-dimensional and spherical / ellipsoidal in shape!

In the above one I was able to see the spider still in the web:

Also was able to see individual strands:

This one had a beautiful, mathematical curved sheet appearance:
